Otto Sauter Foundation

Otto Sauter founded the charity institution: „Otto Sauter Hilfsfond“ in 1999 in Singen at the shores of Lake Constance. A series of benefit concerts gave the impulse to the foundation. Their proceeds should be given unbureaucratic and fast to people of the region, living undiserved in a distressed situation.

The charity institution was founded in cooperation with the  newspaper Südkurier, the South-West Radio, the Landrat Frank Hämmerle, the delegated of the parliament of BW Veronika Netzhammer, the catholic church of the district of the city of Konstanz, as well as some privat persons.

Meanwhile, Otto Sauter has given a series of benefit concerts in front of an always sold out audience.

Each year he invites renowned artists like Montserrat Caballé, Lucia Aliberti or Bobby McFerrin to perform for his foundation and gives a concert on New Year’s Eve with trumpet and organ at the Heart of Jesus Christ Church at Singen. The South-West Radio and the Südkurier have also supported the charity institution with various benefit events.
